MeadCon 2020 Call for Speakers
MeadCon 2020 is shaping up to be our best yet—we are expecting more attendees, a bigger trade show and some amazing presentations, and epic get togethers.
One of the reasons that MeadCon is so amazing is you, our speakers. We’re looking for people like you to share your stories about meadmaking, commercial meadery business and mead tools and techniques. We want to learn about the trials and tribulations, fermentation wins and fails, the amazing finds, and the cool tools and equipment and the epic batches.
The conference brings together the largest gathering of people anywhere who live, breathe, and love mead. Sharing your experience will help us all learn to make and enjoy mead better.
If you’re passionate about mead or fermentation, have hands-on experience, or can present a unique perspective, we invite you to submit a speaking proposal. Everyone is welcome to attend and present—you don’t have to be a meadmaker or meadery owner, we want to hear from anyone connected with fermentation or mead.

What Constitutes a Great Proposal?
The best talks mix the practical and actionable with a dash of inspiration. They’re not afraid to dig in and look at the good, bad and ugly of fermentation. We’re looking for stories, tips, tricks and great ideas and approaches for our attendees to take home and use.
You don’t need to be famous, heck you don’t have to be a ‘speaker’. If you’ve got a story to tell, we want to hear it.
The only thing that is off limits? Sales Pitches. We want folks to learn, not buy in the seminars. But you can totally give a talk on best practices for equipment or ingredients, and have a table at our trade show to get with attendees after the talk!
To get an idea of what types of things to talk about, take a look at the 2019 agenda here http://meadcon.net/2019-meadcon/ and the 2018 agenda here http://meadcon.net/2018-amma-meadcon/.
