To increase communication with members and provide additional transparency in the Grading process and scheduling, here is an update from the Exam Directorate.
Closed Exams:
We’ve closed 35 exam sets in March and April so far. This represented a very strong March as you can see from the graph of closed exams over the past year.
Open Exams:
We have 66 Open Exam sets. Fifty-one are with grading teams right now. Twenty-one of these exams have been with teams for more than 60 days. We have 7 exam sets waiting for grading volunteers and anticipate another 6 administered this past Saturday to roll in during the week.
Scheduled Exams:
We are waiting for exam set scans from 10 Exam Administrators as of today, 6 of these were administered this weekend. We have 15 scheduled for the next month, 9 of these are part of the Quarterly Written exam. The below graph shows the number of scheduled exam sets for the balance of the year.
Process Improvements:
You may have noticed that we have been able to push database updates much more frequently the past few weeks. We’ve added Hirendu Vaishnav to the IT team and with Fred Hirsch, they are streamlining our processes to remove delays in processing exam closing and posting of updates.
Finally, we would like to thank all graders for your efforts, we couldn’t do this without you. If you have questions, would like to see additional information, or have general comments, please don’t hesitate to let us know at [email protected].
