Attention all BJCP judges! The Master Homebrew Program in coordination with the BJCP has created the new “Gavel Awards Program” as an additional thank you and recognition for the hard work provided by beer, mead, and cider BJCP judges.
This 1.5 inch repeatable award will be granted once per year based on the judging points acquired and competitions attended by each judge. The highest award achieved in the calendar year will be the one assigned to each participating judge.
Earning Points and Reporting
Judges earn points simply by opting-in with MHP and participating in BJCP-sanctioned competitions. The judging points will be provided to MHP by the BJCP at the completion of each calendar year, based on the competition awards date. Judges will receive a 50% judging point bonus applied by MHP when judging any CoA competitions, which can be found here: https://www.masterhomebrewerprogram.com/circuit-of-america
