The National Homebrew Competition Final Round in Providence, RI is fast approaching: Thursday, 27 June 2019. It’s a great opportunity for learning and socializing with your fellow BJCP members from around the globe. It’s also an opportunity to be a part of something special as we’re tasked with judging over 1,200 entries, the mini-BOS sessions, and BOS rounds all in a single day. We could always use more judges and stewards.
We’ll continue to use the same three session format that was adopted last year in Portland with some slight, but important changes. Before participating, all judges and stewards should review this presentation that provides an overview of the schedule, the benefits of using this format, and some keys to its success. In addition, please review the Structured Scoresheets (first used in 2018) that will be used in the final round.
If you’ll be in Providence during the NHC and you’re interested in helping out, please sign up to judge or steward. If you have entries in the NHC final round, indicate your availability to judge or steward by signing in [link removed] and editing your brewer’s profile. If you do not have entries in the NHC final round, you must create an account [link removed] to judge or steward.
