1. Board Nominations and Leadership Changes:

2. Exam Graders are desperately needed to help cut exam backlog
- It has been taking way too long to get exams graded and scores out to our examinees. A big problem is that we don’t have enough graders to handle the number of exams we have. National rank or above? YOU CAN HELP!
3. Exam Directorate bring us an update on it’s plan to address the exam backlog
- The pandemic took a toll on both exams administered and our active grader pool. Our grader pool has partially recovered, but only to 2013 levels…
- The Board approved a slightly updated exam retake policy, allowing for examinees to retake an exam of the same type if they haven’t received grading results in 6 months.
5. Rank Advancements September –December 2023:
- Congratulations to judges who have ranked up to National and Master, along with those who achieved Cider and Mead certifications during this period!
6. BJCP’s First Ever Judge Retires:
- Cheers to Peter Caddoo, BJCP Judge #A0001, after 5 decades of brewing!
